It’s exactly the right time to explore Open House Nursery School, one of Brooklyn’s oldest preschools located in Cobble Hill. We are now scheduling in-person or virtual tours for two- and three-year-olds for the 2022/23 school year. In keeping with our progressive educational philosophy, Open House Nursery School is an open door to all young children and their families. No screening, interview, or formal application determines admission. All that is required is interest, as established by taking a tour.
For nearly 50 years, Open House has been providing nurturing, inclusive and joyful early childhood programs that emphasize community and collaboration. Our school, which has five classrooms, a private rooftop playground (expanded!), and a dedicated indoor movement room (new!), was specifically constructed for young children. We offer flexible scheduling – 3, 4, and 5 days – with extended days and vacation programs so that families may create schedules that best suit their needs.
