A 15-year-old teenager was shot twice outside the Farragut Houses at 234 Sands Street last Friday 4/1 around 5 pm. A man shot the teen, striking him once in the left leg and once in the right leg, according to authorities. The suspect fled and the victim was taken to Methodist Hospital in stable condition.
According to the police, this shooting was gang-related and an isolated incident. The investigation is ongoing and no arrest has been made yet. The police is looking for a suspect that was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a black hooded sweatshirt and blue sweatpants with white stripes.
