Young Visionaries Project: a one of a kind summer program for artistic kids (sponsored)

Young Visionaries Project is a one of a kind program for artistic kids ages 11-14, who want to express themselves and gain confidence in their artmaking! Over two weeks, young artists will work collaboratively to build an exhibition and performance on the theme: Envisioning a Future I Want to Live In. Through creative movement, photo, film, and workshops with professional artists, young people will utilize multiple mediums to express their visions and create meaningful art. Organized by cullen+them, this program is based on 20 years of experience fostering the voices of young individuals that centers collaboration, community and empathy.

When: July 7th-18th, weekdays from 9am-3pm

Young Visionaries Project is designed around the idea that creative individuals and skilled collaborators make good citizens. As parents of the next generation of makers and leaders, we want to empower them with the social emotional tools, confidence and sensitivity that will help them address the needs of our time. This program is more than just an arts camp, it’s an introduction to a way of collaborative art making that centers the voices of young people, so that they can leave more confident in their knowledge, their sense of self, and more practiced in listening and sharing with others.
