Starting Tuesday, November 6th, the New York City Department of Transportation Division of Bridges will close one lane on the Manhattan bound lower roadway of the Manhattan Bridge until December 6th. This closure is required to facilitate the work of structural and component rehabilitation. Bicycle and pedestrian access on the Manhattan Bridge will not be affected by this work. Two travel lanes will remain open at all times on the lower roadway.
