New York City public school families, regardless of income, have receive a new allotment of food benefits of at least $391 per child. K to 12 students who were enrolled in June 2022 and those in charter, private, and other schools, or pre-K, who received free meals through the federal school lunch program are eligible. Benefits have been uploaded to the card for each student.

All farmers markets in NYC accept SNAP-EBT benefits. Visit the farmers market information tent to spend $2 in SNAP / EBT / P-EBT, get bonus $2 “health buck”, up to $10 per visit. Swipe your card for $10 and get $20 to spend at the market.
