Brooklyn Bridge Park
Waterfront Workouts in Brooklyn Bridge Park will run through September. Get ready to sweat, stretch, and strengthen yourself both mentally and physically with a diverse lineup of free weekly fitness classes set against the stunning backdrop of Brooklyn Bridge Park. All classes are free, but registration and waiver are required. Registration opens at the beginning of each month for that month’s classes.

Strengthen your core, improve flexibility, and enhance body awareness with Pilates classes offered by Dodge YMCA every Sunday morning.
Free 2-hour Youth Basketball Clinics with King Hoops are taking place at Pier 2 on Tuesdays evenings, 5-7pm, through July 23. Learn basketball basics as head coaches lead participants through drills and games. Clinics are geared for kids ages 7-17. Advanced registration and waivers are required, but walk-ups can be accommodated if space allows. Registration opens here every Tuesday at 10:00am for class the following week.
With the Conservancy’s ever-popular kayaking program held in partnership with Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse, visitors can enjoy gliding across the East River on Wednesday and Thursday evenings (5-7pm) as well as Saturdays (10am-3pm) and Sundays (12-2:30pm) through September at Pier 2. Advance registration is required; make a reservation here. Do not walk-up without a registration, as they may not be able to accommodate you!

Work it out on The Plaza every Monday with this energetic and motivating dance series! First ten attendees to check-in with us at the tent can take home a free Downtown Brooklyn-branded bandana!
- July 22: Samba Roots with Quenia Ribeiro | The Queen of Samba, Quenia Ribeiro, introduces the various forms of Samba from Rio De Janeiro and Bahia. This series goes beyond dance and movement; it is an electrifying journey through rhythm and time!
- August 7: Brukwine | Brukwine is the ultimate waist wining, booty shaking, body toning workout. Brukwine is a killer dance workout that combines crushing your fitness goals with the excitement of being on a stage!
- August 12, 19 & 26: Wukkout! | Love to feel inspired, get healthy, and of course, have the most fun you’ve ever had working out? Then you’ll love Wukkout! Get carefree Caribbean Carnival party vibes with an intensely freeing and fun aerobic workout when you step into an in-person Wukkout! class.

Ping-Pong with The Push | Brooklyn Commons Park | Returning in August!

DJ Mike Doelo and The Push are back for another series of popular ping-pong match ups. Registration necessary, and participants will be required to sign a waiver for each event in the series. Registration info coming soon!

Shala Yoga in Fort Greene Park

Join Shala Yoga in Fort Greene Park, Passive Lawn #1 (near the monument). Teachers rotate weekly. This class is vinyasa-style, meaning we blend breath and movement to help stabilize the mind and strengthen and stretch the body. This class is suitable for all levels. Class registration is free and on a first come first served basis. Space is limited to 25 people. Please bring your own mat and a water bottle. Weather permitting.
Prospect Park

Brooklyn’s most beloved outdoor yoga series is back in Prospect Park! Brooklyn Flow and Prospect Park Alliance present free outdoor yoga on the North Long Meadow every Thursday evening. Brooklyn’s finest yoga teachers from different studios around the park lead classes in a low-pressure, beautiful environment. Join hundreds of Brooklynitesto celebrate yoga and wellness. All levels and experiences are welcome. Bring your own mat, water, and friends!
AMP’d Interval Training with Chelsea Piers Fitness

Join Chelsea Piers Fitness and Prospect Park Alliance to hit the grass and push your body to new limits in this high-intensity interval training class that combines bodyweight strength and cardio on the Prospect Park Long Meadow. You will move through a range of movements from running and jumping to lunges and crunches to keep you motivated and energized. All levels are welcome. Located at the north of Long Meadow near the entrance of Grand Army Plaza and Garfield Place.
