Classes | After School Programming
At Brooklyn Science Spot, kids don’t just learn about science. They do science. Our hands-on classes turn curious kids into real scientists, engineers, and inventors as they ask big questions, make predictions, test ideas, and find out what happens. One week they might build a bridge that has to hold more than they ever imagined, and the next they might mix up a bubbling chemical reaction or explore how living things grow and change. Every class is built on inquiry and innovation, so children learn to think creatively, solve problems, and see mistakes as the first step to a great discovery. They leave excited, a little messy, and already asking, “What are we doing next week?”
Science Birthday Parties
Make your child’s birthday a blast. Literally. A Brooklyn Science Spot birthday party is a hands-on, high-energy celebration where the birthday child and their friends become scientists for the day. Think fizzing potions, gooey slime, animal interactions, and jaw-dropping experiments that get everyone cheering. Our enthusiastic instructors lead the fun from start to finish, so kids explore, create, and discover together while parents sit back and enjoy the show. It’s the party everyone will be talking about long after the cake is gone.
Day Camps
Is school out? Science is in. When schools are closed, Brooklyn Science Spot day camps keep kids learning, building, and having a blast. Each camp day is packed with hands-on STEM challenges, exciting experiments, and creative engineering projects, so kids can design, build, test, and try again. Campers work together, think like innovators, and discover how science shows up all around them, all while making new friends. It’s the perfect way to turn a day off into a day of discovery, and parents get the peace of mind that their kids are spending the day somewhere safe, fun, and inspiring.
