Voxel Academy on Atlantic Avenue in Cobble Hill was created in the aftermath of the pandemic. Their staff used to work in a Brooklyn staple called The Pixel Academy for many years. They offer an array of EdTech topics ranging from Toy Design, Video Game Developer, Coding, 3D Modeling & Printing and much more for students ages 7 to 14 years old.
The program features 1 Maker Lab (STEM LAB) and 7 classrooms. They charge a per day fee for Makerspace ($85 per day) and for the topics that can range from $700 – $2,000 depending on how long of a program you pick. The topics are scheduled in seasons. You select a day of the week you wish to attend, and select the season. For example Winter Season for Monday has a total of 10 week (10 visits) for the season, you would come in once a week. They also plan to offer summer camps in 2022. Find out more here.
