Show the kids the fascinating painting of water in-the-makes on the gate under the Archway! Casey and his girlfriend, a Brooklyn-based artist, are painting the water surface of the East River in a 2 week long process half an inch by half an inch to create this beautiful pixel-y vision of the organic element water. Casey blew up the actual image on the computer tremendiously which gives it that “LEGO”, pixel-y look that is different from every angle. He will be finished around June 6th, stop by with the kids!
