Brooklyn Heights Spring into Service day May 1

The annual Brooklyn Heights Spring into Service day will take place on Sunday, May 1st. Donate gently used children’s clothing and kids books or help clean up the neighborhood.

DONATE CHILDREN’S SUPPLIES for Little Essentials: Clean out your closets and recycle quality books and children’s items including clothing, body carriers, diapers and more. Bring items to Pierrepont Playground 10:30am to 12:30pm. Details here.

DONATE KIDS BOOKS for Brooklyn Book Bodega: Bring us your gently used and new books for ages 0-18. Please no textbooks, or books with torn pages. Bring books to the Pierrepont Playground 10:30am to 12:30pm.

Electronic Recycling on Sunday, 10 am to 2 pm at the First Unitarian Congregational Society Pierrepont Street between Monroe Place & Clinton Street. Accepting working and non-working computers, monitors, printers/scanners, keyboards, mice, cables, TVs, VCRs & DVD players, phones, audio/visual equipment, cell phones & PDA’s.

Join the Brooklyn Heights Association and Council Member Lincoln Restler for a community clean up as part of the BHA Spring into Service Day.
