Cherry blossoms at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Many different kinds of cherries are now in bloom; the ‘Kanzan’ trees on Cherry Esplanade are forming buds at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. The cherry blossoms will be available to view until approximately May 9th, you can track the cherry blossoms here. The Brooklyn Botanic Garden is open from Tuesdays to Sundays from 10 am until sunset during the week and 8 am until sunset on weekends.

  • All visitors including children and members must have an advance ticket to enter (children under 12 years old enter for free but need ticket)
  • Ticket quantities are limited in order to preserve social distancing. The Garden will release new blocks of tickets two weeks in advance of visit dates
  • Face coverings are required for all guests over age 2
