DUMBO’s One Girl Cookies becomes Dawn’s Til Dusk, Fort Greene has a new pizzeria, Brooklyn Heights is getting a Georgian restaurant, a new Middle Eastern restaurant is coming to Downtown Brooklyn.

After months long renovations of the former One Girl Cookies space, Dawn’s ‘Til Dusk is opening on Wednesday, August 17th and will be open daily from 8 am to 8 pm. It will feature a sun-up ’til sun-down menu of breakfast, lunch, snacks, sweets, treats, and aperitivo served in a quick-service fashion, with a long inviting bar pouring affordable wines and beers. From Chicken and Broccoli Rabe Sandwich, Smoked Ham ‘Cuban’, Roasted Mushroom Sandwich, a new line of classic Black & White cookies to Street Cart Chickpea Bowl and Antipasti Salad, DUMBO might finally be getting a quick and delicious lunch spot!

A Georgian restaurant by the name of Chama Mama is coming to 121 Montague Street. It will open in the former location of Le Pain Quotidien. The interesting menu includes Georgian breads, dumplings, yoghurt soup, Georgian burger, grain bowl, lamb stuffed vine leaves and more. No opening date has been published yet.

taïm will open at 11 Hoyt Street in Downtown Brooklyn in September. They serve pitas, falafel, bowls, salads, fries and mezze that are fresh and made from scratch daily with spices and time-honored techniques of Mediterranean cooking. Everything is made-to-order and customizable. Delivery, pick-up and catering all available.

Adam Baumgart, a former chef at Diner, and Mark Connell, owner of Manhattan dive Botanica Bar, have opened up a new pizzeria in Fort Greene. Oma Grassa serves pies like a pepperoni, zucchini, or anchovy version with salads and antipasti to start. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday 5 to 10 pm, walk-ins only. 753 Fulton Street, at South Portland Avenue.
