Live at the Archway! | DUMBO | Wednesday 6/21

Live at the Archway is a kid-friendly concert and event series hosted by the DUMBO BID in the Archway under the Manhattan Bridge in DUMBO. Doors at 5pm. Music at 6pm. In the Dumbo Archway. Rain or shine.

Storytime in the Park | Fort Greene Park | 6/22

Sing, read, and play with librarians from Brooklyn Public Library this Summer! Have fun hearing great picture books read aloud and playing with other children every Thursday at Fort Greene Park, from June – August. Thursday June 22 from 4 – 4.45 pm.

Game Night in the Archway | DUMBO | Thursday 6/22

Hang out after work and meet fellow Dumbo creative companies with beer, music and organized + casual games. Lawn games and mind games. All fun. All together. Special games presented with Come Out and Play – New York’s favorite group game creators. Thursdays 5 to 7 pm in the Dumbo Archway.

Cumbe Dance | Fort Greene Park | 6/23

Watch master artists perform African and Diaspora Dance, then experience the joy and learn the movements through a class and a dance jam with the Cumbe Center.

The Metropolitan Opera’s Summer Recital | Brooklyn Bridge Park | Friday 6/23

Mark your calendars for the Met Opera’s Summer Recital Series on Pier 1 for an evening of beautiful arias and duets from a variety of operas. Pack a blanket and picnic and take a seat on Harbor View Lawn to be swept away in a serenade with incredible views. Friday, June 23 from 7 to 10 pm.

Brooklyn Americana Music Festival | Brooklyn Bridge Park | Saturday 6/24

The 9th Annual Brooklyn Americana Music Festival (BKAMF) returns to Brooklyn Bridge Park in celebration of NYC Pride Saturday June 24th, 2023. Pier 6 live music events feature LGBTQ artists; a bluegrass jam session, a buskers stage, and a ‘make your own rainbow flag’ art parade. Refreshments available. Bring a picnic blanket! Brooklyn Bridge Park, Pier 6 on Saturday, June 24th, 2-10pm.

Family Pride Fest | Albee Square & City Point | Saturday 6/24 (rain or shine

Join City Point, Master of Ceremonies Lola Star, and Dreamland Productions for an afternoon Family PRIDE celebration!  It all starts with a Family Pride Parade, and will continue through the afternoon with Anna Copa Cabanna, Band Fogu Azul, the Brazilian Marching Band, Happy Dance Party, sparkle stations, and more! All ages are welcome to this FREE joyful, rainbow-colored event! Saturday, June 24th, 11 am to 2 pm at City Point and Albee Square in Downtown Brooklyn. If it rains, the party will be moved inside at City Point.

Youth Pride | Domino Park | Saturday 6/24

Snookie Lanore, Amorphous, Devan Ibizia, Blue Man Group and More Take the Stage with Host Tangina Stone at NYC Pride’s Youth Pride. Youth Pride will be held at Williamsburg, Brooklyn’s Domino Park on Saturday June 24 at 12 pm. The event is free, but RSVP is required via nycpride.org/tickets.

Caribbean American Heritage Month Celebration | Borough Hall | Saturday 6/24

Stop by Borough Hall outside on Saturday, June 24, from 12PM to 6PM for a celebration of Caribbean American Heritage! The party will have live beats by DJ Haze, African dance groups, a parade of mas, steel pan music, and more. There will even be free samples of Caribbean food from all over the islands by our borough’s loved small businesses.

Basketball clinics | Pier 2 | Tuesdays

Recommended for ages 7-17, join Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy for 2 hour basketball clinics led by KING Hoops. Learn basketball basics as head coaches lead participants through drills and games. Clinics run on Tuesdays from May 30 through July 25 at Pier 2. Clinics for ages 7 to 12 will be from 4 to 5 pm, while clinics for ages 13 to 17 will be from 5 to 6 pm. Advanced registration and waivers are required, although walk-up registrations can be accommodated as space allows. Registration will open at this link every Tuesday at 10 am for class the following week.

Kayaking | Pier 4 | Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays

Free family-friendly kayaking is offered throughout the summer on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons through September in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Find out more here.

Open Streets | Montague Street | Saturday 6/24

Tip toe through Montague Street Blooms, a 6-foot flower pop up park, and enjoy the magical public space, practice and learn to score goals, dribble, and zigzag from the pros at Super Soccer Stars, use your imagination to play with New York Society of Play. After you’ve worked up an appetite, visit Mad for Chicken, 80 Montague Street, where kids eat free from 12-5pm.

Ping Pong Happy Hour | Brooklyn Commons Park | Tuesdays
