The program pairs experienced instructors from 4WRD Roller Skate, a Brooklyn organization dedicated to accessible skating education, with skaters of all experience levels at BCM’s Empire Skate of Mind rooftop roller rink, where parents can skate with their kids. Sessions run in two 1-hour blocks: 2:00-3:00 pm & 3:15-4:15 pm.

RESCHEDULED: Due to extreme cold weather, the Ice Sculpture Show has been rescheduled to Sunday, March 8, at 12pm.
During Governors Island’s Ice Sculpture Show, ten artists will be paired with professional ice carvers from Okamoto Studio, with live carving taking place throughout the event. Visitors can also take part in ice-carving workshops, catch a DJ set by Miss Alicia with sound by Karlala Soundsystem, and explore additional programming. Makina Café will be open in Colonels Row, joined by food trucks serving winter-themed treats.
