Meet the winter birds of Governors Island! Nearly 240 bird species have been spotted on the island, which provides excellent habitat all year round. Whether you’re an expert birder or a beginner, these tours, led by NYC Bird Alliance, will help you discover all of the bird life the island has to offer this winter. Brooklyn Conservatory of Music Celebrates Holi! | Prospect Park

Join Mixed Masala and BKCM in celebrating Holi, the Festival of Colors, on Sunday, March 16 at Prospect Park! The celebration begins at 3pm with picnicking and at Long Meadow (near Grand Army Plaza). Bring a blanket and snacks and enjoy the free concert. At 4pm attendees will be invited to join in the traditional celebration of throwing colored powder. We recommend that you wear white clothing and expect to get messy!
