Free outdoor movies in Brooklyn this summer

Outdoor movies are back in Brooklyn this summer! Enjoy free films in parks and public spaces all across the borough, including Brooklyn Bridge Park, Fort Greene Park, Prospect Park, McCarren Park, Red Hook, Crown Heights, Bushwick, and Coney Island. From cult classics for adults to kid-friendly picks, there’s something for everyone. Grab a blanket, bring some snacks, and catch a movie under the stars. Note that all movie screenings may not be appropriate for children; film ratings are included in each listing for parents to review.

Voting opens in early August on Brooklyn Bridge Park’s website. The winning film will be announced at the August 21 screening.
