Downtown Brooklyn Gets Lit!
Tuesday, November 25 | 6-7pmÂ
Albee Square will host Downtown Brooklyn’s annual holiday lighting ceremony, debuting brand-new lights this year! DJ Mike Doelo will provide music, and performances will include Janis Weatherly and members of The Lafayette Inspirational Ensemble, along with entertainers Andrea Flow, Brianna Kalisch, Flow Juggle, and Roller Boogie. Attendees can enjoy hot chocolate and participate in a countdown to turn on the holiday lights. Plus, an ugly sweater contest will take place leading up to the event! Participants can post a photo in an ugly sweater on Instagram, tag @downtownbrooklyn, and bring their post to the DTBK tent between 6-7pm on the day of the event to receive a gift card for a local business, while supplies last.
Atlantic Avenue Tree Lighting

Save the date for Atlantic Avenue’s annual tree lighting outside St. Cyril of Turov Belarusian Church. In past years the festivities in Boerum Hill have included caroling, goodie bags, and more holiday cheer!
Park Slope Tree Lighting

Park Slope’s annual tree lighting on Small Business Saturday will feature live music, photos with Santa, bubbles by BubbleDad, Mexican hot chocolate from Chela, and more. The tree will be lit at 5:15pm!
Merchants of Third Avenue Tree Lighting in Bay Ridge

The Merchants of Third Avenue will have their third annual tree lighting on December 1. Join the celebration that will include music, hot cocoa, arts & crafts, holiday cards, a toy & coat drive, and more to kick off the holiday shopping season on 3rd Avenue.
The Seaport Holiday Tree Lighting

The Seaport will host their annual holiday tree lighting on December 2. Come early for holiday shopping and seasonal bites at at Tin Building, Mure + Grand, Maum Market, Lawn Club, Willet’s. Plus, enjoy live music performances by Dueling Pianos, Brooklyn Drumline, and The Doo Wop Project. The tree (at the corner of Water & Fulton Streets) will be lit at 7pm, followed by a meet and greet with Santa!

Join for the 102nd annual New York Stock Exchange’s holiday tree lighting! There will be refreshments and snacks, plus live performances by the PS 150 Children’s Choir, School of Rock, NYC Gay Men’s Chorus, The Brass Queens, and the NYSE house band The Hit Squad.
DUMBO Tree Lighting
Thursday, December 4 | 4-7pm
DUMBO’s Holiday Tree Lighting will take place in the Dumbo Archway and Plaza, with the tree lit at 5:30pm sharp! There will be photos with Santa, live music by Curtis J. Social and the DUMBO house band, and performances by students from PS307 and Dock Street Middle School. There will also be hot cocoa, sweet treats, mulled cider for sale, and holiday projects on the side of the Manhattan Bridge. Guests are encouraged to bring unwrapped toys for children ages 0–14 for the 84th Precinct’s Operation Sleigh Ride and packaged non-perishables for the Vinegar Hill Pantry Food Drive.
Red Hook Lobster Pound Tree Lighting in Red Hook

Join for the lighting of Red Hook Lobster Pound’s unique holiday tree—adorned with lobster traps! There will be holiday cheer and grog from 6-8pm, and the tree will be lit at 7pm.
Sunset Park Tree Lighting
Sunset Park’s annual tree lighting takes place on 5th Avenue & 60th Street, in front of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. There will be gift bags for kids, pictures with Santa on the trolley, music, games, candy, and toys!
