Immersive Halloween experience with Subway Therapy & pumpkin decorating

Join City Point’s Immersive Halloween Experience with Subway Therapy “Post-Its, Pumpkins and Scary Stories”: A Post-It Installation on Saturday, October 7 from 11 am to 2 pm for all ages.

This Halloween, we ask: What’s the spookiest thing you’ve ever seen? Share your answer on a Post-It and be part of our Community Installation. To kick off the interactive installation, City Point and Brooklyn Bridge Parents will host free pumpkin decorating and pumpkin photo-op on Saturday, October 7 from 11 am to 2 pm in the space opposite the book store. Free RSVP here.

Subway Therapy is an immersive and interactive work aiming to help people smile, laugh, and de-stress. It’s about community expression and bringing together our vibrant and diverse BKLYN community. It’s an opportunity to connect, strike up a conversation, listen, and empathize. Subway Therapy began with a table and two chairs. Participants were invited to have a seat and converse about whatever they wanted to talk about. It evolved when sticky notes were introduced to the project, reflecting the thoughts of over 50,000 individuals from all over the world. Subway Therapy is an ongoing interactive and participatory public work. It happens regularly in New York, in various US cities, and occasionally around the world.

The space will be open to the public Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to 6 pm and Tuesdays to Fridays 12 to 6 pm until November 6. Stop by to share your scary stories!
