Children spend so much of their time focused on academics and structure during the school year. Summer camp offers something different: the chance to grow socially, emotionally, and personally through experience, connection, and play.
At Park Slope Day Camp, that comes to life through trips, swim, special events, and everyday camp moments that help children build friendships, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Their programs are designed to create a fun, supportive environment where campers feel included, connected, and are encouraged to be themselves.
Year after year, families return for the sense of community, care, and lasting memories that define the PSDC experience.
“My child loves their summers at PSDC. There’s such a variety of activities and trips…no two weeks ever feel the same! PSDC’s greatest strength is its staff. Every single counselor, even those who work with other age groups, knows my child’s name and has developed a relationship with them. They create such a strong sense of community and belonging.” — Parent Testimonial
PSDC aspires to bring out the best in each of their campers, which is why their campers go home happy, encouraged, confident, having learned something new, and excited to see what the next day of camp has in store, because, of course, no day is like the other!
