Jehovah’s Witnesses headquarter to become office campus

The Real Deal reports that a partnership led by Kushner Companies, CIM Group and LIVWRK has finalized a $340M deal for the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ Watchtower building in Brooklyn Heights.  According to DNAInfo it will be turned into a “urban office campus”. “We’re always looking to raise the bar for how today’s top companies want to work, and this property will set a new standard,” Kushner Companies CEO Jared Kushner said in a statement.

The Watchtower partners are also in contract to buy a 35,000-square-foot site at 85 Jay Street in Dumbo with 1.1 million square feet of as-of development rights. That deal has not yet closed. Stay tuned!
