Former Jehovah’s Witnesses’ HQ near Brooklyn Bridge Park to be renovated into film studio

Panorama Brooklyn, originally presented as a new office hub at 25 Columbia Heights in the Fulton Ferry District between DUMBO and Brooklyn Heights will now be marketed as Panorama Brooklyn Studios, a new production studio featuring approximately 90,000 square feet of studio, production office and support space including dressing rooms, wardrobe, hair and makeup, a large freight elevator and loading space. Panorama Brooklyn Studios is located on several floors of the 12-story 25 Columbia Heights Watchtower building and has been the site of numerous streaming, television and film productions over the past several years, prior to the studio formation.

According to the owner CIM Group, “Panorama is envisioned as a hub of creativity and collaboration utilizing its complex of five interconnected buildings to become an engaging vertical-village with a mix of café and fine dining, specialty retail, entertainment, offices and featuring the Panorama Brooklyn Studios. Panorama’s buildings together comprise approximately 680,000 square feet with approximately 55,000 square feet of outdoor space. The low-rise buildings, with the tallest at 12-stories, feature multiple entry points, modernized lobbies, large floor plates and ample windows. The five buildings, at 25, 30, 55 and 58 Columbia Heights and 55 Furman, sit in an L-shaped configuration around center gardens and greenspace. Panorama Brooklyn Studios occupies approximately 90,000 square feet within the 25 Columbia Heights building.”
