At Kane Street Kids, children ages 2-5 joyfully engage in co-authored emergent curriculum based in inquiry, problem-solving, and collaboration. Our approach is centered around seeing children as capable individuals with unique interests.
COLLABORATING WITH FAMILIES
At KSK, we believe that a child’s home adults are their first teachers, so we value open and consistent communication with all of the important adults in your child’s life. Family engagement is at the forefront of our approach, centering families as an integral part of the preschool experience. Keeping relationships at the heart of our work, we encourage children and adults to come as they are, supporting families through the stages and phases of early childhood development.
OPEN HOUSE
Join us for our Fall Open House on Tuesday, November 4 at 9:30am to learn about how we build a community grounded in collaboration and connection at KSK. Our Fall Open House will feature a formal presentation from our Preschool Director, Cam, introductions from additional Kane Street community members, a Q&A, and a chance to meet our teachers in their classrooms while you explore the building.
FREE MUSIC CLASSES
This year, we will be partnering with Tkiya Music to offer FREE toddler music classes for children ages 7-23 months and a grown-up. Shabbat Jams! is a joyful exploration of Shabbat through music and movement, featuring engaging, playful elements like scarves, shakers, a parachute, puppets, bubbles, and more!
