Your job title: CEO of Tucks Travels & Founder of DUMBO Dads Run Club

Your work in one sentence: Tucks Travels pays for passport applications for low income New Yorkers and help send them abroad for the first time.

Your children: Liam, 18 months old

Where do your kids go to school: Petits Poussins in DUMBO

Which neighborhood do you live in: DUMBO

What do you love about living in Brooklyn: Brooklyn continues to invest in Brooklyn. Every single month, I’m so encouraged by all the activities and effort that go into making our community feel like Home.

More information about the DUMBO Dads Run Club: We are a group of dads and aspiring dads trying to stay mentally and physically fit. This a group to share best practices, network and just have a good time with our kids.

More information about your nonprofit: Only 43% of Americans have an active passport. Despite our world being more connected than ever, we are moving in a direction where we know less and less about each other. Our mission is to change that. Tucks Travels provides financial support for US Passport applications and helps send students and young adults abroad for the first time. We believe travel is an essential part of shaping who we are and international experiences are a zero to one moment for child development. US passports cost $179 per application and traveling abroad can be expensive and intimidating. We are dedicated to creating a more open and accessible world for all.
