Your children: My two daughters, ages 4 and 8, are creative, energetic, and full of curiosity. As Franco-American kids, they embody the best of both cultures, blending imagination and a critical mind with a joyful, optimistic spirit. They love to explore, always eager to discover new things and embrace the world around them. Their curiosity and zest for life constantly inspire me, pushing me to stay open-minded and embrace new experiences.
Where do your kids go to school? PS 20 – The Clinton Hill School. PS20’s French dual-language program is an incredible asset, allowing students to grow up bilingual while surrounded by classmates from different backgrounds.
Which neighborhood do you live in? I live in DUMBO and love its unique sense of community, where modern city life blends seamlessly with Brooklyn’s rich history. It’s a vibrant, creative hub—perfect for both raising a family and my photography work. Documenting events here is always a special treat, with its scenic streets, waterfront views, and inspiring energy.
What do you love about living in Brooklyn? Brooklyn is an amazing place to raise a family, with a strong sense of community that nurtures cultural awareness and creativity alike. Its diverse mix of people, artistic energy, and endless opportunities make it the perfect place for my daughters to embrace both sides of their heritage. More than ever, I feel the urgent need to protect the diversity that shapes their daily lives. Brooklyn, with its mix of cultures, ideas, and perspectives, makes that possible, and I’m grateful to raise my children here.
