Varsha was born in India and moved to the US in 2019. She is a costume designer by profession, has worked on many bollywood films and is now slowly moving toward the food world. She comes from a family of great cooks and has always shadowed her mother in the kitchen picking up her talent and love for food. How did you get into offering home cooked food to Brooklynites: I love cooking and cooking for other people makes me even happier. So when i found about the app WoodSpoon, I applied to be a chef on it and now I can feed people my food made with lots of love.
What do you love about living in DUMBO: I love everything about Dumbo- its historical buildings, community, amazing people, food options, views, so many things to do, the beautiful parks. Dumbo is a unique neighbourhood in Brooklyn unlike any other neighbourhood which I absolutely love.
