New amenities coming to Dumbo

Retailers are starting to open up in DUMBO’s mega development Front & York. Devocion coffee shop on the corner of York and Jay Street offering Colombian coffee and treats is the first retailer being open (with outdoor seating).

Lazy Sundaes will be opening by the end of August serving Korean style sundaes, bubble tea and coffee. They are located on Front Street between Jay and Bridge.

Life Time Fitness has launched a sales gallery where they are pre-selling memberships for the new center opening in October. Life Time will open a 77,000 square feet big fitness center, making it Life Time’s first location in Brooklyn and the largest Life Time location in New York City. It will offer a wide variety of services and programming for guests of all ages, including multiple fitness studios, a basketball court, indoor pool and sauna, cafe, salon and spa. It will also feature a Kids Academy for children ages 3 months to 11 years offering camps, parties and kids classes.

CVS Pharmacy’s 12,350-square-foot space is under construction on the corner of Jay and Front and is scheduled to open later this year. Beepublic coffee shop opposite of the Front & York complex on Front Street will open a coffee shop in the fall.

Dog daycare and pet spa Hounds Town USA has taken 4,500 square feet at 57 Jay Street. Construction is on its way for the doggie daycare, grooming facility and doggie hotel.

Vivvi is opening a 9,102 sq ft location at 55 Prospect Street in DUMBO Heights this fall offering child care for little ones as young as 6 weeks old. The center hours will be 7 am to 7 pm Monday to Friday and the space features various classrooms and an indoor gym. Tution ranges from $1,800 for 2 days to $3,600 for 5 days per month and they not plan to offer the free 3k for All and UPK programs for now. Learn more and schedule a tour here.
