New family-friendly businesses in Brooklyn

A family retail store, urgent care, indoor play space, trampoline park and table tennis center have opened in Brooklyn adding to the many amenities for families!

Primark is now open at City Point in Downtown Brooklyn. They sell low-cost clothing, shoes, accessories, beauty products and more for the whole family.

CVS pharmacy and drugstore has opened up a location in DUMBO on the corner of Jay and Front Street. The pharmacy is open seven days a week, they also offer instant photo printing services.

CityMD‘s newest walk-in urgent care is located next to Wegman’s at the Bklyn Navy Yard. The center is open seven days a week and sees patients of all ages.

The new playspace Playwell in Gowanus is opening in January. “To provide our community with a safe, creative and fun, interactive movement based social play facility that feels more like a natural playspace than a busy metropolitan city storefront. They offer open play as well as group classes for kids of all ages and their families.” Drop in play ranges from $39 – $55 per session. Brooklyn’s newest trampoline and adventure park has opened up in Sunset Park. From battle beams, to dodge ball, tumble track, slam dunk zone, to tubes playground and trampolines they have you covered at Urban Air Adventure Park. Open play tickets range from $24 to $54 per day (unlimited entry). They also host birthday parties and special events.

PingPod is a fully automated table tennis space, open 24/7. Reserve tables, take lessons, attend a class, throw a party, join a league, and more.
