New public Montessori elementary school opening in Downtown Brooklyn in September 24

A new public elementary school called Albee Square Montessori Public School at One Willoughby Square in District 13 will open in September 2024. The new school within a mixed use tower at 424 Albee Square West will enroll Pre-K and Kindergarten students this fall growing one grade by year up to 5th grade. “Each child is seen as unique and as an individual who will thrive and learn in beautiful Montessori multi-age classrooms rich with materials and experiences designed to support a wide range of learning styles and developmental levels. Through immersion in the natural world around them, children will explore and learn through guided observation, inquiry driven, hands-on experiences, exploration and discovery.”
