This summer let’s give the Lilypad (iPad from Toy Story 5) a rest and maybe give a real cold-blooded creature like a chameleon a chance! As you’re looking for creative summer activities, we invite you to Dumbo Ceramics where we have a lineup of hands-on experiences for kids and families all season long.
Creatures & Clay
On Saturday, July 25 at 1:30 PM! Children ages 6 and up will meet live chameleons for an interactive animal experience before creating their own clay projects inspired by these fascinating creatures in a guided handbuilding workshop.
Ceramics Day Camp
There are also still spots available in Ceramics Day Camp, a one week camp where kids learn foundational clay techniques while creating a variety of projects in a fun, supportive studio environment.

Family Clay Time
Looking for a weekend activity? Every Sunday from 2:00–3:30 PM, parents and kids can create together in a relaxed, beginner-friendly environment.

If you’re interested in coming in for a regular (adult) pottery class, we have six-week weekly classes every morning 10:30am-1:00pm and weekday nights at 6:15pm-8:45pm. We offer both handbuilding and wheel throwing classes.
