Playtime on car-free streets in the City 1968 and 2022

A new photo exhibit shows NYC children playing on car-free streets in the summer of 1968. With the Open Streets program and other initiatives we are bringing play to the streets of Brooklyn with various partners this summer! While it looks a little different to 1968 the idea stays the same – play, move and build community!
