Private club for families coming to Brooklyn Heights

A 45,000-square-foot family club with supervised childcare, a work lounge, fitness and spa amenities, and on-site food and drink is coming to Brooklyn Heights in Summer 2026. The Beginning Clubhouse will open its flagship location at 50 Columbia Heights, in a historic seven-story building across from Hillside Dog Park.

Founded by two local dads, the concept is a modern country club that is designed for both kids and parents. Dedicated floors will offer supervised childcare, thoughtfully designed play spaces, game rooms, and structured classes. Parents can enjoy an entire work lounge floor—with meeting rooms and a quiet library—plus a full fitness center and spa.

There will be an array of dining options: a casual café and lounge, a fine dining restaurant, an adults-only dining room, and a rooftop option with views of the Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn Bridge.

The Brooklyn Heights flagship will be the first location, with plans to expand across the country. Families can learn more and request to join the membership list here.
