Located in a beautiful brownstone with a private backyard in Brooklyn Heights, Seedlings Preschool has been an anchor of the local community and a place for children (2-4 years old) to learn and grow for the past 12 years. Seedlings emphasizes learning through play, focusing on each child’s social and emotional growth. Small class sizes with a high teacher-child ratio create the ideal atmosphere for young learners to develop new skills and experience the joy of learning. Our enrichment activities include dramatic play, art, science, music, gardening, and beyond.
Enabling a healthy separation is the most important goal we can accomplish with your children. To achieve this, we offer home and school visits with teachers before school begins. This makes the transition into the classroom easier, as the children already feel comfortable and confident in their new school.
Seedlings offers half or full-day options for its Twos and Threes-Fours Programs, as well as an optional “Lunch Bunch” from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM and early 8 AM drop-off. Summer Camp runs from early June – late August and includes plenty of outdoor activities and water play! Enrollment for the Fall 2025-Spring 2026 Program is now open, here.
