We had a blast during our opening weekend at the City Point Holiday Hub: A December family experience co-hosted by Mommy Poppins and Brooklyn Bridge Parents where families can make holiday memories. The three weekends of programming geared towards children ages 1 to 10 include Santa portraits, Menorah making, cookie decorating, holiday crafts, Elf selfies, and more. Located on the first floor of City Point at 445 Albee Square West in Brooklyn, the Holiday Hub is open on Saturdays and Sundays December 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, and 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All days: Holiday Photo Station with BASIS Independent Brooklyn. Choose different types of Holiday props and take a picture. Get a free print out on the spot. Afterward, kids can decorate their photo frames for Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or Christmas!
Saturday, Dec. 16: Gingerbread Men Paper Crafts, Holiday Portraits with Santa, Legos, Block Building & Coloring.
Sunday, Dec. 17: Holiday Crafts, Cookie Decorating, Legos, Block Building & Coloring & 12 to 2 pm Cookie Decorating at Sixpoint Brewery
Please note all activities and programming will be on a first come, first serve basis. Cookie decorating (while supplies last) will take place on Sundays downstairs at Sixpoint Brewery from 12 to 2 pm. All other activities will be happening in the Holiday Hub on the ground floor.
Holiday Portraits with Santa on Saturday 12/16: Our in-house shutterbug will photograph kids with Santa in front of an Instagram-ready backdrop. Each family will receive one free digital print with the option to purchase additional photos and holiday card packages. Space is limited: first come, first served. Pre-register to get updated information and reminders.
