Program details: ALBION SC Brooklyn has been developing players for 20+ years in Brooklyn. The ALBION Juniors Development Program for the Junior Player is designed to give your child the opportunity to build a solid foundation in technical development in the very early years of playing and enjoying the game of soccer. ALBION Juniors program serves as an introductory and advanced path for 5-7 aged soccer players. We have expanded the Juniors program to now include players ages 8-14. The uniqueness of our program is that we have devised an In-House, non-travel program professionally coached and organized for ages 5-14 year olds. We are committed to providing a fun, educational, and progressive experience for your youth soccer players. Not only are we committed to our youth players, but we also have a wonderful comprehensive coaching education curriculum and mentorship program specifically for ALBION Juniors. Spring 2025: The winter Juniors program will wrap up in early March, and the spring season will run from March 23 through June 8. Registration is open, sign up here!

AYSO BROOKLYN | Prospect Park & Prospect Heights

Program details: The largest nonprofit youth soccer program in Brooklyn, Everyone Plays® in Brooklyn AYSO! Children are not registered on their merits as soccer players, but rather on their interest and enthusiasm. Our objectives are to teach, promote and develop youth soccer in the United States, and to develop America’s youngsters in body and character. All of AYSO’s coaches, referees, managers and other local officials are volunteer members dedicated to our youth, their communities, and AYSO’s philosophies and objectives. Spring 2025: Early bird registration is $130 through February 9 and $160 starting on February 10. Click here to register. Once a division fills or after March 9, all registrants will go on the waitlist. Games start on April 5 and will be played on Saturdays and Sundays through June. Not every team plays on every game day.

Bedstuy Soccer Club | Bed Stuy

Program details: Bedstuy youth soccer club offers youth developmental and competitive soccer programming for kids ages 2-13 years old. The club offers toddler classes for ages 2-5, and for ages 6 and up, the Bedstuy Soccer League, as well as a Girls Program and a Boys Program. In the winter, Bedstuy Soccer Club hosts weekend classes at Socceroof Crown Heights from December through February. Spring 2025: Registration for spring programs is now open! The season will run from March 11 – June 21.

Born Kickers | Various Locations

Program details: Born Kickers inspires and nurtures the love of soccer in 2-6-year-old boys and girls. Our coaches teach the sport in a positive, healthy, and safe environment – where children gain the benefits of team athletics and develop a passion for the global game. Their sessions are. Our sessions are grouped from ages 3-4 and 5-6, along with dedicated sessions for 2 year olds. They also offer private classes and summer camps. Spring 2025: Register for spring programs here! Brooklyn City F.C. | Various Locations

Program details: Brooklyn City F.C. offers youth players multiple entry points into the club, so motivated aspiring players can join the club and work their way onto more competitive teams or else settle in at whatever level they wish to play. There are three tiers:  Developmental, where players will be offered enrollment into weekly programs, giving them the opportunity to build a foundation of technical skills necessary to compete in youth club teams; Club, where plays are rostered onto one of the teams and compete in youth club leagues against other clubs; and Academy, competitive teams for the most motivated and talented players, aspiring to pursue the game at a “higher level.” Spring 2025Tryouts ongoing for Spring 2025 season!

Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy Youth Soccer Leagues | Brooklyn Bridge Park

Program details: Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy offers affordable youth soccer leagues in spring and fall for 1st — 6th graders. The league is a 10-week season in partnership with Metro Soccer. All teams are coached by volunteer parent coaches. Spring 2025: Games begin on Saturday, March 1, with optional Wednesday practices starting March 5. We offer a tiered pricing model based on income. Brooklyn Force Soccer | Brooklyn Bridge Park, Park Slope & Red Hook

Program details: Brooklyn Force Soccer has been developing athletes at all levels for over 15 years, sending multiple players to professional contracts and even placing a few on our own US National Teams. The mission of Brooklyn Force Soccer is to provide boys and girls with a variety of soccer programs to enhance their development and passion for the game. Our kids and youth soccer club in Brooklyn offers a variety of programs for players of all skill levels. Our coaching staff consists of experienced professionals who are dedicated to helping these individuals become smart, humble, and highly skilled soccer players who can bring a positive attitude to the sport. Brooklyn United Academy | Various Locations

Program details: Brooklyn United Academy is both the largest and most professional youth soccer academy in the great borough of Brooklyn. BKU Academy provides the communities of Brooklyn with a world-class soccer academy on par with the top clubs in the world. BKU Academy provides boys and girls aged 11-18 the best opportunity to master the game and improve themselves during these critical years of development, and position themselves for college recruitment. BKU’s training methodology was forged on some of the top pitches across Europe. As a thought leader in the space, the academy is set to continue to grow and flourish in the coming years. As such, a serious level of commitment is required to be admitted to the academy. Players that succeed in this highly competitive environment are those who have fully committed not only to the game, but to themselves and the desire to put forth their best effort. Both boys and girls academy teams practice 3 times per week. Teams play weekend games in a travel league in the fall and spring, and enter into tournaments during the winter. Chelsea Piers Field House Brooklyn | Prospect Heights

Program details: The Chelsea Piers Brooklyn soccer program includes classes for players of all ability levels between the ages of 2 and 14. Our youth soccer curriculum emphasizes individual skill development in a fast-paced environment. All classes and clinics are taught by the Chelsea Piers soccer coaching staff, who encourage players to continually improve their skills in a fun and professional environment. Program details: Fort Greene Falcons Soccer Club is a year-round soccer program for boys and girls that teaches students the fundamentals of passing, dribbling and kicking while emphasizing team work, good sportsmanship and individual skills. As young athletes skills increase they begin to incorporate simple one on one games. Intermediate to advanced athletes have one on one, three on three and five on five games at the end of class. Spring 2025: The winter season will wrap up on March 16. Future Stars Futbol | Brooklyn Bridge Park

Program details: Future Stars Futbol is a dynamic, coach-driven year-round youth soccer program, offering outdoor training in the fall and spring, and an indoor schedule in the winter months. Programs offered include soccer classes for ages 2-8, travel teams ages 8-14, a goalkeeper academy, private coaching, and soccer clinics during the summer and school holidays. Teams also play in CJSL and NYCSL and participate all year round in local and international tournaments. Club philosophy focuses on development of player skills, leadership and building community. Gjøa Soccer | Various Locations

Program details: Sporting Club Gjøa (pronounced YO-ah) was started by Norwegian immigrants in 1911 and is the oldest soccer club in New York and quite possibly the nation. Our Brooklyn-based youth program provides soccer campstravel soccer, and soccer classes and clinics for girls & boys ages 3 to 18 years. Little Vikings (ages 3-5) classes are the earliest introduction to organized soccer on the Gjøa Pathway. The Youth Development Program (YDP) offers girls and boys ages 6 through 12 the opportunity to improve their game through professional instruction. Kings County Soccer Club | Crown Heights

Program Details: At Kings County, we’re all about having fun and embracing challenge. Our experienced coaches train our players to reach their highest potential, and to always have a great time, whether it’s at training or during competition. Located in the heart of Brooklyn, the Major R. Owens Center is home to our state of the art home field. Originally the Bedford Armory, this historical location has been transformed into a multi-sport facility with indoor reliability and an outdoors natural light feel. Soccer Legion FC | Brooklyn Heights

Program details: Legion FC offers Total Soccer (ages 2-5), Grassroots Soccer (ages 6+), Accelerated Soccer (ages 6+), and camps (ages 5-13). Coaches create an environment where the focus is on the player’s, abilities, interests, and learning styles and the coach performs as the facilitator. At each stage of development, the player should actively participate in creating the learning experience. Individual performance outcomes largely direct coaching content and activities. Spring 2025: Registration is now open for spring programs, March 23 – June 14. For the first time, Legion is offering an all girls team for 2017/2018 players. Program details: As soccer is becoming more popular amongst young kids, the need for an all-girls soccer program in the New York metro area was needed. Sweat Football Club is excited to bring NYC Girls Soccer Club to Brooklyn, NY. Soccer classes are held for 1-2 hours throughout Brooklyn and open to all players. Program details: Socceroof offers weekly youth classes for boys and girls ages 3-14 all year round. Classes are a recreational program designed to develop the fundamental physical, technical, and cognitive skills of youth players. Soccer Stars United Development & Travel Program | Various Locations

Program details: A soccer program unlike any other, with a philosophy centered on providing a nurturing yet challenging environment which encourages every player to express themselves, be creative and take educated risks on the field. The program focuses on developing character, communication, game insight, technique, and fitness skills. Our objective is to build-up each player’s confidence to unlock their true potential. Soccer Stars United offers a Development Program, weekly skill classes for soccer players aged 4.5-11 who are poised for a higher level of soccer instruction. Their Travel Program is for players aged 7-18 with a true passion for the sport, who wish to take the next step by competing in local and regional leagues. Sweat Football Club | Various Locations

Program Details: Sweat Football Club is a leading youth soccer club based in Brooklyn. Sweat F.C. exists to empower young players with the knowledge and overall techniques necessary for rapid growth towards the best possible version of themselves as soccer players on and off the field. The club offers a wide variety of programming for ages 2-11, including toddler soccer, afterschool programs, girls programs, soccer leagues, and more competitive teams. Sweat F.C. also hosts summer camps, school’s out camps, spring break camps, and winter indoors soccer. Spring 2025: Registration is now open for the spring season, starting March 15. Levels: Beginner, intermediate programs. Teams require tryouts; more information here.

Ages: Toddlers (2-5), Afterschool Soccer Programs (5-12), Girls Programs (5-13), Soccer Leagues (5-10), Teams (6-11 and 12-18)

Seasons: Year-round soccer program with indoor play during the winter, as well as camps during summer and school holidays

Costs: Classes start at $325/season
