Summer volunteering for kids in Brooklyn with the Service Collective

The Service Collective is a non-profit supported by the Fund for the City of New York and they partner with local non-profits to set up and facilitate service projects for a variety of ages, schedules and interests. Summer service projects for ages 8+ in Brooklyn include park clean ups, gardening, food pantry help and summer book buddy volunteering:

  • Saturday, June 9 | Nostrand Ave Tree Care Day (8+) | SIGN UP
  • Monday, June 10 | Heights and Hills Volunteer Info Session. Learn more about how your family can support homebound seniors in your neighborhood. Parents attend zoom, families can volunteer together | SIGN UP
  • Sunday, June 16 | Sunset Park Clean Up (12+) | 9:30a – 12p, Entrance at 44th Street and 5th Ave | SIGN UP
  • Wednesday, June 19 | Pack and Distribute Groceries at the Juneteenth Festival (16+) | SIGN UP
