3. Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Estuary Collage Workshop

Join us for an upcycled art workshop! Educators will guide you through collaging techniques that involve using upcycled materials and 3-dimensional layering. With the inspiration of the East River’s unique estuary habitat, you will create a beautiful fish and estuary collage. As you craft, learn a little bit about the health of our local waterways and the types of marine species that call the East River their home. This activity is best suited for adults and children ages 8 and up. The art project will include cutting cardboard and using liquid glue. Materials will be provided, but we highly encourage you to bring your own colorful, thin cardboard to have more options and ensure enough supplies for everyone (examples: cereal, soda, or snack boxes).
