4. Myrtle Ave Touch a Truck in Clinton Hill

Touch A Truck Day returns to Myrtle Avenue in September, bringing an opportunity for kids to get up close to and interact with all kinds of large trucks and vehicles! Big trucks, crafts for kids, music, and more – will fill the block on Clinton Avenue between Myrtle & DeKalb.
5. End of Summer Block Party in Bay Ridge

Brooklyn Bridge Parents is partnering up with the 5th Avenue BID in Bay Ridge to host a big End of Summer Block Party on 13 blocks on car-free 5th Avenue from 68th to 81st Street. Come enjoy the many restaurants from all over the world and a block party with bouncy houses, arts & crafts, water play (weather permitting), 5pm bubble show, and much more.
6. Back to School Party at Montague Open Streets in Brooklyn Heights

Join Brooklyn Bridge Parents x Mommy Poppins for their bigger than ever annual Back to School Party by powered by Community Offshore Wind during Montague Open Streets with 40 free kids activities, performances and more. There will be games, arts & crafts, soccer, bubble shows (2-3pm), face painting, kids fitness classes, obstacle course, DJ and much more. Live performances will include a kids concert by Hopalong Andrew (12:30-1:15pm) and a dance party by Hype Dance (3-3:30pm). Bring a swimsuit and towel for hydrant sprinkler fun and water play powered by Macaroni KID Brooklyn NW (weather permitting). Donate gently used books for ages 0-18 to Brooklyn Book Bodega at Books are Magic 12-3pm.
