Vinegar Hill construction news

The last remaining lots in Vinegar Hill are being transformed into residential buildings bringing 285 new units to the tiny neighborhood in Brooklyn.

Sales have launched for the building under construction at 288 Water Street on the corner of Gold Street featuring eight residences, all 3 to 4 bedroom condos with an average unit scope of 1,589 square feet. Building amenities include a fitness center, common roof deck with BBQ and sitting area, residents’ lounge with kitchenette, lobby with package room, and 24/7 remote doorman service. Construction fences have been put up at the warehouse site at 218 Front Street and demolition will start soon. Permits have been filed for two seven-story mixed-use buildings with 218 residences and 109 enclosed parking spaces.  No building designs beyond the listing on the site itself are available yet.

Construction at the residential building at 251 Front Street seems almost complete. The building will be home to 59 rental units and 30 parking spaces.
