Skateboarder statue popping up in Brooklyn Bridge Park

A giant orange statue of a skateboarder by Virgil Abloh for Louis Vuitton and Nike has appeared next to Jane’s Carousel in DUMBO and nobody knows how long will it stay there. Virgil Abloh work will be shown at a Brooklyn Museum Show opening July 1. Stop by with your skateboarding-obsessed kiddos while it lasts.
