99 Fleet Place Apartments | Fort Greene
An affordable housing lottery is open for the new 21-story tower at 99 Fleet Place, bordering Downtown Brooklyn and just a few blocks from Fort Greene Park. The development has 294 units in total, with 76 affordable units available through the lottery. The lottery is open to families of 1-5 people with an annual household income between $31,372 and $100,620. See all units and eligible income levels here.
The building’s amenities include a children’s playroom, business center, party room, outdoor and rooftop terraces, a dog park and dog washing station, a spa, and a movie theater. There is also covered parking and electric vehicle charging. The lottery closes on January 16, 2025; apply here.
Brooklyn Crossing | Prospect Heights
Brooklyn Crossing, located at 18 Sixth Avenue, is accepting a waitlist for its affordable housing lottery. The lottery ends on December 26, and families up to 5 can apply here. The building is 51 stories with 858 units, and 258 are available for eligible families at 130% of the area median income, ranging from $65,315 to $167,570. There are currently one-bedroom apartments available.
Amenities include a children’s playroom, a sky lounge, fitness center, business center with office suites, a library, a media room, and a rooftop pool. Apartments have washers and dryers in unit. The building also has a doorman and a 24-hour concierge.
Union Channel Apartments | Gowanus
The affordable housing lottery launched for Union Channel in Gowanus, at 240 3rd Avenue. The 9-story building has 224 units, including one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms, set aside for residents at 130 percent of the area median income, ranging from $31,989 to $167,700. Tenants will have access to a rooftop terrace, outdoor pool, gym, yoga and dance studio, media room, and business center. 499 President Street Apartments | Gowanus
Also located in Gowanus, an 8-story development is coming up at 499 President Street with 25% of its 430 units designated for affordable housing. There are 88 units available through the lottery, including one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms. The building is set to be completed in February 2025, and will have a rooftop pool and terrace fitness center, yoga and dance studio, a co-working lounge, and a golf simulator available for tenants at an addition fee. Amenities also include in-unit washers and dryers, bike storage, laundry room, and a garage with an electric car charging station. Pets are allowed! Kent Avenue Apartments | Williamsburg
The affordable housing lottery is open for Kent Avenue Apartments, a Two Trees building that is comprised of two towers above Williamsburg’s newest plaza, Domino Square. Located at 346 Kent Avenue, the complex has 600 condominium and rental units split between two towers, with 57 stories in one and 39 stories in the other. The lottery is for 120 units for families with annual household incomes between $100,012 to $240,750.
Amenities include a fitness center, outdoor pool and sundeck, indoor pool, a children’s playroom, and more. Apartments come with washers and dryers and have floor-to-ceiling windows. A new 80-story development in Greenpoint at 75 Dupont Street has launched their affordable housing lottery. There are 471 apartments, with 59 units set aside for residents at 80-130% of the area median income, ranging from $67,475 to $218,010. See all available affordable housing units here.
