Ramadan & Eid al-Fitr events for Brooklyn families

Ramadan, the holiest month in Islam, is a time of fasting, prayer, and reflection, observed this year from February 28 to March 29. From dawn to sunset, Muslims abstain from food and drink, coming together for iftar, the evening meal. The month concludes with Eid al-Fitr on March 29 and 30, a joyous celebration marked by prayer, feasting, and gatherings. In Brooklyn, families gather during Ramadan for community iftar dinners, and celebrate Eid al-Fitr with music, dance, food, henna, and more!
