Union Square Hospitality Group, the award-winning New York-based restaurant group founded by Danny Meyer which created Union Square Cafe, Gramercy Tavern and The Modern, plans to open its first full-service restaurant in Brooklyn at 98 Montague Street, on the ground floor of the historic former Hotel Bossert in Brooklyn Heights. Slated to open in 2028, the restaurant will occupy approximately 3,200 square feet of ground-floor space on Montague Street.
In 2025, The former luxury Hotel Bossert has been acquired by real estate firm SomeraRoad for $100 million, The storied landmark is currently being restored and revitalized into luxury residences by SomeraRoad, the New York and Nashville-based real estate investment and development firm. No additional details for the residential project are available yet. Stay tuned.
