Center for Brooklyn History now open in Brooklyn Heights

The Center for Brooklyn History, a research library and community hub dedicated to Brooklyn history, has reopened  to the public, free of charge at 128 Pierrepont Street. The exhibit Brooklyn is… celebrates the people and neighborhoods of our borough and will be on view until summer 2024. It is best for ages 10 and up combining photographs, maps and other items from the collection with the memories, stories and photos of Brooklyn community members.

The center is open Monday through Friday 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday 10 am to 4 pm and closed on Sundays. New outdoor seating during opening hours, public restrooms and a library return box are available for guests.
