Easter Weekend School Holiday | Prospect Park

Join Prospect Park Alliance for nature education programs at the Prospect Park Audubon Center, the first urban Audubon Center in the nation. Participants will explore the Lake and Lullwater, learn about animals in the Audubon’s collection, and take a Wilderness Walk to search for birds along Prospect Park’s nature trails. There will also be Carousel Rides from 12 – 5 pm! $3 per ride, $13 for a book of 5 tickets.
Governors Island Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 30 | 10am-3pm | FREE
Back for a second year, this popular springtime event will have 50,000 candy-filled eggs across several areas of Governors Island, along with an island-wide scavenger hunt that everyone can take a crack at, plus an additional hunt for children ages 5 and under. There will also be performances from Bubbledad and WonderSpark Puppets, spring-themed arts and crafts with Red Hook Art Project, “Meet the Chickens” with Earth Matter NY, family photos with a spring bunny, and more! The egg hunt is first come, first served as supplies last, and will take place continuously throughout the day. No pre-registration is required, and the event is rain or shine. Note: heavy visitor traffic to Governors Island is expected for the Egg Hunt; it is strongly recommended that you reserve ferry tickets in advance!
Easter Sundaes (on Saturday!) at the Social | Prospect Heights
Come join us for a fun-filled morning of sundae making and Easter festivities, best for ages 2-8! We will be hand churning a custom, Easter-inspired ice cream flavor that will be available at this event ONLY! Each child gets to help churn the ice cream, and make a delicious sundae with our Easter ice cream and unlimited toppings! There will also be themed arts and crafts and a classic egg hunt. Each child may have 2 adult chaperones. Complimentary coffee will be provided for adults, and mimosas and ice cream will be available for purchase! Children 9 – 17 years old will not be admitted. Babies 23 months and younger may accompany ticket holders and their chaperones at no additional cost.
The Brooklyn Heights Annual Spring Egg Hunt | Pierrepont Playground | Brooklyn Heights

Hosted by the Brooklyn Heights Association, this annual egg hunt takes place at Pierrepont Playground, on the Brooklyn Promenade.
