This is the first new library location in Brooklyn in almost 40 years. Adams Street Library features 10,000 books, reading rooms for children, teens, and adults; WiFi and laptop lending; a full browsing collection, holds pickup service, 18 coworking desks and more.
What happens to the Annex at 1 John Street? The last day of service at the Annex, which has been the library’s pop-up home for nearly two years, will be Friday, October 8th. Any holds waiting for pickup will be transferred to Adams Street and available from Tuesday, October 12th at 9 Adams Street.
