A rare opportunity for affordable housing in DUMBO! The affordable housing lottery for the new residential building 69 Adams Street on the corner of Front Street is now open. The apartment building right next to the Manhattan Bridge offers studios, one and two-bedroom apartments with views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn skylines. The building’s amenities include on-site parking, gym, yoga dance studio, outdoor areas, rooftop terrace and private storage spaces. There are 23 one-bedroom units available for $3,253  monthly rent for household incomes starting at $111,532 per year and 29 two-bedroom units for $3,835 monthly rent for household incomes staring at $131,486. New renderings have been revealed for 89 Dekalb Avenue, a 30-story mixed-use building under construction in Fort Greene. The 348-foot-tall structure will feature 324 rental apartments with 98 rent-stabilized units. The building’s completion is slated for December 2025. Read more here.

Permits have been filed for a 47-story mixed-use skyscraper at 205 Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights. The building will have 136 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 2,100 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have multiple cellar levels and 100 enclosed parking spaces. Demolition permits have not been filed for the six-story office and commercial use building.
