Smith Street Arts et Lettres: accepting applications for children age 2 to 5th Grade on four Brooklyn campuses! (sponsored)

The importance of a child’s intellectual and creative life—of thought, curiosity, exploration, multilingualism, and artistic expression—infuses everything we do at Smith Street Arts & Lettres. Our warm and nurturing preschools support children’s growth into creative, emotionally capable humans in our Elementary and Middle School programs, through an environment that engenders and nurtures the habits of expansive thinking, complex problem-solving, and artistic discovery. Three Maternelle locations in Brooklyn (Carroll Gardens, Gowanus and Brooklyn Heights) welcome children ages 2 to 4, while a brand new Main Campus in Gowanus (454 Carroll Street) awaits Kindergarten through 5th graders in September with exciting new spaces: art rooms, a dance/movement studio, an outdoor terrace play area, light-filled classrooms and library.
Don’t speak French at home? Pas de problème! Our expert teachers make language acquisition a natural and joyful process. Early childhood is the best time to learn – or reinforce – a second language. We admit children with no French background through Kindergarten.

Already proficient in French? We have limited seats in our Elementary program (K to 5th grade); contact our admissions team ([email protected]) for availability.
