Summer Rising 2024 is a partnership between New York City Public Schools and the Department of Youth and Community Development to offer free summer program for students in grades K to 8 no matter where they go to school. Summer Rising welcomes all New York City students including multilingual learners, immigrant students, and students with disabilities. In addition to academic and physical enrichment activities, free breakfast and lunch will be provided. Apply using your MySchools account between March 4 at 3 pm and March 25. If you are a New York City Public Schools student, your school’s affiliated Summer Rising location will be listed at the top of the Search page. Find out more here.
Dates:
- Grades K – 5: July 2 to August 16, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Grades 6 – 8: July 2 to August 8, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
