The Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse is open to the public through Sunday November 3rd. This biennial event offers a rare opportunity to visit a historic home in Brooklyn Heights while discovering the work of cutting-edge designers, blending old with new Brooklyn chic. October 22: The Art of Tablescaping

Ever wanted to set a beautiful table but don’t have the accessories or the know-how to do it?  Join Devika Kanade, founder of the home & lifestyle brand, The Itihaās Company, in partnership with Brooklyn-based home decor shop, Painted Swan for an evening celebrating the “Art of Tablescaping.” Enjoy a glass of organic, small-batch boxed French wine provided by Brooklyn Heights resident Vish Patel of Bobo Wines, and learn how to set, design and style a memorable tablescape for any occasion. October 28: Panel: The Iconic Brooklyn Townhouse 1842-2024

Why does the Brooklyn townhouse still capture our imagination after 180 years? Join Showhouse Co-Chairs Ellen Hamilton and Erika Belsey Worth in conversation with Ravi Kantha (Serhant Real Estate) Lindsay Barett Barton (Douglas Elliman Real Estate) and Michael Ingui (Ingui Architecture) on the brownstone legacy and how architects and realtors are adapting historic homes to modern living.
