Indian all-day cafe, wine bar and market concept opening in DUMBO

The new Indian canteen concept Fountainhas at 28 Jay Street is opening on June 20, bringing the first of its kind all-day cafe, wine bar and market concept featuring Indian chai and goods not only to the neighborhood but NYC overall.

In addition to the restaurant, Fontainhas introduces DUMBO’s first Dukaan, a curated boutique accessible through the cafe, that will serve as a one-stop destination for products that satisfy the Indian experience. Featuring a diverse array of items sourced locally from US based South Asian brands and most excitingly, brands from India almost never available in store in the US items include: snacks, chutneys, spice blends, and other essential grocery products guests will come to crave after dining at Fontainhas. Imagine Eataly for Indian and South Asian brands, where each product tells a story of tradition and quality.

Named after the famous Latin Quarter in Goa, India, Fontainhas, the café showcases the breadth of Indian cuisine, blending traditional flavors with innovation.
